ARB unveils Malaysia’s premier IoT-powered franchise professional services hub

MAIN Market-listed information technology (IT) software and platform provider ARB Bhd together with SQV Group Sdn Bhd, a renowned franchising expert, are rolling out a cutting-edge professional services hub incorporating smart office solutions that is empowered by ARB’s IoT (Internet of Things) platform technology.

The Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Ministry led by minister Datuk Ewon Benedick is lending its support to this ground-breaking collaboration which seeks to foster digitalisation and empower businesses to excel in a highly competitive, ever-evolving marketplace.

By capitalising on IoT-driven office solutions, companies can substantially reduce expenses and share resources, hence enabling them to focus on their primary business objectives.

ARB’s cutting-edge solutions will play a crucial role in the success of this joint initiative. As a result, SMEs (small medium enterprises) and franchisees can streamline operations, improve productivity and enhance their customer experience.

The ARB’s IoT smart office solutions are poised to drive efficiency while empowering businesses to nimbly respond to the constantly shifting requirements of the digital landscape.

ARB’s executive director Datuk Seri Larry Liew Kok Leong has expressed his enthusiasm about collaborating with SQV which is a frontrunner in the franchising arena to provide innovative IoT smart office solutions to a vast network of businesses.

“In the initial phase of this partnership, we have secured a contract worth RM40 mil by catering to 100 business hubs,” he revealed. “The group is excited about the prospect of this revolutionary solution and is currently negotiating for phase two of this project which could be valued at RM80 mil for an additional 200 hubs.”

Moving forward, Liew expects the collaboration to present a tremendous opportunity for ARB to engage with SQV’s vast clientele of SMEs and franchisees.

“We believe that our partnership with SQV will strengthen our presence in the market and create lasting value for businesses by delivering unparalleled efficiency, productivity and digital adaptability,” he added.

SQV’s expertise in providing effective, scalable solutions to a wide range of industries will ensure that the professional services hub initiative can cater to its clients’ diverse needs. Its strong track record and achievements include the 350 approved franchisors under its consultation with at least 10 outlets per franchisor.

At the close of today’s trading, ARB was down 0.5 sen or 4.35% to 11 sen with 1.34 million shares traded, thus valuing the company at RM134 mil. – March 31, 2023
