About the Role
Responsible for designing and improving the user interface and user experience of websites, mobile apps, and software applications. This role must be able to create interfaces that are intuitive, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing, while also meeting the needs of the end user.
Responsibilities
Develop user-centered designs by conducting user research and analysis, and incorporating business requirements and user feedback.
Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and interaction patterns.
Translate requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns, and visually appealing user interfaces that meet user needs and business goals.
Design UI elements such as input controls, navigational components, and informational components that align with design standards and guidelines.
Create original graphic designs, such as images, sketches, tables, and other visual assets, that enhance the user experience.
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems, such as responsiveness and accessibility issues, and develop solutions that meet user needs.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and management, to deliver high-quality designs on time and within budget.
Incorporate customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design iterations to continuously improve the user experience.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and innovations in UI/UX design and incorporate them into design projects.
Create storyboards and other design artifacts to conceptualize designs and effectively communicate project plans and requirements to stakeholders.
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least degree/diploma in Design, Fine Arts, Engineering or a related field.
1+ year of working experience in UI/UX design.
Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Canva, Figma, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with user research and analysis techniques.
Ability to work independently and able to communicate & interact effectively with people.
Meticulous and attention to details and have a keen eye for aesthetics.
Ability to articulate ideas, designs, and suggestions.
A strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
