About the Role
This role will be responsible for processing payroll for all employees in Group Companies, ensuring timely and accurate payments, statutory compliance and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, passionate, highly independent, self-driven with a growth mindset and is keen on accepting challenges yet remain humble with the aim of learning and growing with the team and experience with payroll software.
Responsibilities
Responsible to process monthly payroll activities for all Group Companies such as collating and validating inputs, output and statutory payments accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with all statutory laws relating to payroll such as EPF, SOCSO, income tax.
Maintain accurate records of employee information, benefits, and deductions in payroll systems.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
Prepare reports and analysis related to payroll data.
Effectively collaborate with Human Resource Department personnel to ensure accurate and adhering to SLA processing of employee changes and new hires.
Working collaboratively with Human Resource Department personnel to elevate employee experience.
Coordinate with Human Resource Department personnel on the timely and accurate updating of employee personal file.
Execute payroll audit request to be sent to auditor.
Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of payroll processing/ operations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of experience in payroll processing.
Strong functional knowledge of statutory and Malaysian payroll laws.
Experience with payroll software, HR2000 preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
