JOB DESCRIPTION
Support the business development team in identifying new opportunities, conducting market research, preparing proposals, and maintaining client relationships. Assist with lead generation, data analysis, and coordination of sales activities while gaining practical experience in strategy, communication, and business growth initiatives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Generation & Market Research
• Conduct market research on potential clients, industries, and competitors.
• Identify new business opportunities and compile prospect lists.
• Assist in preparing market insights and data analysis for BD strategies.
Client Engagement & Support
• Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and presentation materials.
• Support the BD team in communicating with clients via email, WhatsApp, or calls.
• Participate in client meetings, briefings, and follow-up activities (where applicable).
Documentation & Proposal Development
• Prepare business proposals, tender documents, and company profiles.
• Assist in creating product presentations for IoT solutions and tech services.
• Organise BD documents, agreements, and contract files.
Sales & Project Coordination
• Support the BD team in coordinating project timelines and deliverables.
• Assist in updating sales pipelines, CRM data, and reporting dashboards.
• Follow up on project status and maintain communication with internal teams.
Marketing & Branding Support
• Assist in preparing marketing materials, social media content, and corporate decks.
• Support branding activities for events, exhibitions, and product launches.
Ad-hoc Tasks
• Participate in BD meetings and brainstorming sessions.
• Support any additional duties assigned by the BD Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, IT/Tech-related fields, or equivalent.
• Strong interest in Business Development, Sales, or Corporate Strategy.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive, outgoing, and eager to learn.
• Advantage: Knowledge of IoT, AI, or technology solutions.
