Senior Account Executive

About the Role

Responsible for performing overall accounting functions and strategic roles which includes identification, recording, analyzing, classification and summarization of transactions for various financial reporting deliverables in accordance with internal policies, financial reporting standards and relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day accounting, cash flows and finance duties for the Company.

  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing and yearly closing of account.

  • Verify AP invoice and all outgoing payments.

  • Prepare and report month end closing.

  • Supervise accounting staff as required. Provides guidance, advice and support to ensure issues are solved and addressed appropriately in a timely fashion.

  • Hand on experience in handling taxation and statutory accounts.

  • Liaise with Auditor, Tax agent, Company Secretary and Banker.

  • Communicate with all levels for daily related tasks.

  • Perform adhoc duties assigned by superior. 

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Professional Degree in Accounting or equivalent.

  • At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in handling full set of account is required for this position.

  • Able to manage multiple deliverables and datelines. 

  • Ability to work independently and able to communicate & interact effectively with people. 

  • Meticulous and careful to details. 

  • Good team player. 

  • Well verse in Autocount software. 

  • Able to analyse, understand and interprete basic financial data.
